The Veterans Crisis Line is staffed by trained professionals 24 hours a day to help in an immediate crisis.

The Wyakin Warrior Foundation provides scholarships, mentoring, training and networking for severely wounded or injured veterans.

OEF/OIF combat Veterans may have been exposed to a wide variety of environmental hazards during their service in Afghanistan or Iraq.

Mary Pierce, LCSW, Boise VA’s Suicide Prevention Coordinator, was awarded the VA Secretary’s Hands and Heart Award. This special recognition went to Mary because she is passionate about her role, and she has gone above and beyond her role to provide education to staff about suicide prevention. Mary works with many veterans who have contemplated or attempted suicide. She has been able to make a difference in many of their lives because of her compassion and strong clinical skills. Bowlers Donate to Veterans

The Ada County USBC Bowling Commission presented the donation of a check for $1350 to the Boise VA Medical Center on 11/18/11.
