This special recognition went to Mary because she is passionate about her role, and she has gone above and beyond her role to provide education to staff about suicide prevention. Mary works with many veterans who have contemplated or attempted suicide. She has been able to make a difference in many of their

			<hfs:intro type="string">The Boise VA Medical Center purchased this new Gem2 electric car to support staff, transport supplies, lab work and women veterans from the main facility to the (soon to open) Womens Clinic.

The Boise VA Medical Center is currently renovating an existing building to house the new Women Veterans Clinic scheduled to open this winter (2011) and will be located in the former Mountain Cove School area. Currently the clinic is located in Bldg. 27.</hfs:intro>

Nursing Crew Resource Management or (NCRM) is aimed at changing the way professionals in the healthcare system communicate and function, beginning with front line nursing staff. After completing training, the goal will be to evaluate improvement in teamwork, communication in dynamic situations, management of human factors, process changes implemented and overall satisfaction.</hfs:intro>
